A hanger is provided to enable a user to suspend an article with a wire rope and to adjust the height of the sustained article easily by controlling the position of a lock case relative to the wire rope. A hanger includes a wire sustaining member(13), a wire grip(14), a control shaft member(15), a control dial(17) and a coil spring(18). The wire sustaining member is received into a lock case(11) and makes a wire rope(12) inserted and pass therethrough. The wire grip is inserted into the lower part of the wire sustaining member and has a wire grip device together with the wire sustaining member. The control shaft member screw-mounts the upper part of the wire grip. The control dial is screw-coupled to the control shaft member disposed in a recess(16) at the lower part of the lock case. The coil spring(18) is installed between the lower end of the wire sustaining member and the control shaft member. |
