A pedestrian protection structure at a road crossing is provided to reduce the speed of motor vehicles by installing an ascending warning assembly to an end of a road crossing facing motor vehicles running toward a road crossing and installing the road crossing with the ascending warning assembly high on a road, and to give drivers a warning at night by raising an ascending warning plate according to a pedestrian signal of a signal lamp and lighting up LEDs. A pedestrian protection structure for protecting pedestrians at a road crossing is formed by installing a main frame on the ground correspondingly to the width and length of a road crossing, installing an ascending warning assembly(20), which is formed by inserting an ascending body(40) and an ascending warning plate(50) into a housing(30), to an installation groove of the main frame, inserting an LED assembly(60) to the ascending warning plate and connecting with a power source of a control box, and connecting the ascending body with an air compressor, wherein a bellows(43) is fixed between a lower plate(41) and an upper plate(42) of the ascending body inserted to the housing of the ascending warning assembly and expanded or contracted vertically by injecting air through an injection port(44) using the air compressor according to a pedestrian signal of a signal lamp to move the ascending warning plate put on the upper plate of the ascending body, and many LEDs(62) are fixed to the LED assembly and connected with the power source of the control box by an electric wire(63) to light up in colors for drivers recognizing easily at night.
