STRUCTURE FOR ABSORBING THE FLOOR IMPACT SOUND IN COMMUNITY HOUSES, USING AIR CUSHION

A floor impact sound absorbing structure of an apartment house using an air cushion is provided to offer residents downstairs pleasant residential environment by absorbing and cutting off impact sound and vibration occurring upstairs. A floor impact sound absorbing structure of an apartment house using an air cushion comprises an air cushion placed on the upper part of a concrete slab(1) and composed of an air mat(20) and an air spring made of elastic materials and provided with air injection ports(20a) connected with air hoses which are connected with an air compressor to inject air to the air cushion, a floor unit(10) formed on the upper part of the air cushion to move upward and downward, a limit switch(40) installed to sense the lowest limit or the upper limit of the bottom unit descending or ascending according to a decrease or an increase in air pressure of the air cushion and provided with an electric control unit operating the air compressor to inject air to the air cushion or to stop air injection to the air cushion, a damper(30) installed between the concrete slab and the floor unit and equipped with a cylinder and a piston injected with gas to have elastic force using contractile force of the gas to absorb horizontal vibration effectively and to keep the floor unit at level, and a stopper(50) installed to a space between the concrete slab and the floor unit to keep the floor unit not to ascend below than the lowest limit of the bottom unit descending when the air cushion and the damper are unable to function as an elastic bearing.
