A hanger for mounting a door is provided to prevent the door from being damaged due to unnecessary contact between a clamp and the door when the door is not clamped by the clamp. A hanger for mounting a door comprises a hanger frame(10) and a holding member(14). The hanger frame is vertically provided with a first rack bar(12). The holding member is installed at the first rack bar such that the holding member moves in the longitudinal direction of the first rack bar, so that the holding member fixedly supports one end of the door. A position adjustor controls the holding member to be coupled with or disengaged from the first rack bar, and adjusts installation height of the holding member for the first rack bar. A controller(40) controls an installation position of a clamp assembly for the hanger frame based on information inputted from a vehicle type identifying card(11) for identifying the type of a door, and information input through a position setting sensor(S1), a proximity sensor(S2) and a position check sensor(S3).
