An inside button device for a door in a vehicle is provided to improve convenience of a user and to enhance the commercial value by releasing the locking state of the door locker with a simple operation by passengers. An inside button device for a door in a vehicle comprises an arm rest(11) disposed on the inside of the door, a gear(16) rotatably rested to a rotation shaft(16a), which is fixed into a recess(11a) of the arm rest. A push button(12) vertically moving within the recess includes teeth(12a) engaging with that of the gear. A cable operation block(15) connected to a release cable(13) of the door locker has teeth, which are engaging with the gear. A return spring(14) is further provided in the recess to resiliently support the bottom of the push button. The return spring has one end rested on the bottom of the recess and the other end attached to the lower surface of the push button.
