The invention relates to a dryer/kiln for gypsum, comprising a drying volume, a first duct, with an inlet connected to a source of hot gas and an outlet opening into the drying volume, a second duct, with an inlet connected to a source of gypsum and an outlet opening into the firing volume. The second duct is concentric to the first duct with a feed screw arranged at least partially within the second duct, said screw feeding the gypsum to the firing volume. The invention further relates to a method for the firing of gypsum and the plaster obtained thus. |
