METHOD FOR COMPRESSION OF DIGITAL COLOR VIDEO-IMAGES THAT INCLUDE MEASURED INFORMATION

Method for compression of digital color video-images that include measured information relates to measuring engineering and digital processing of video-images. According to the invention one determines parameters of fractal coding that provide given accuracy of transfer of measured information for area of its implementation. Then one performs separation of digital data on brightness of digital color image from digital data on its color and distribution of those data by channels of digital color video-image. Then one performs sub-discretization of digital data for each of channels of digital color video-image that describes color of that video-image. Then one performs fractal coding of digital data for each of channels of digital color video-image, and after fractal coding of digital data for each of channels of digital color video-image one performs statistic coding of those data. Technical result: increase of accuracy of transfer of measured information and compressed digital color video-images, increase of degree of compression of digital color video-images.
