A burner deterioration protector is provided to restrict degradation of lateral walls of a duct burner by installing an air guide at an auxiliary housing. A burner deterioration protector comprises an auxiliary housing(60), an auxiliary opening, and an air guide(61). The auxiliary housing makes an inner space having cooling air paths on two lateral walls of a burner and the upper surface of the burner. The auxiliary opening is installed to the upper surface of the auxiliary housing to be aligned with an opening formed at the upper surface of the burner. The air guide is installed to the cooling air path formed at the auxiliary housing to guide some of air fed by a blower to the cooling air path.
