A fan motor case is provided to attenuate vibrations and noises caused by the operation of a fan motor by forming an exhaust air duct having a spiral exhaust flow path and mounting upper and lower buffer members that support the upper and lower sides of the fan motor and prevent noise transfer from the fan motor to the fan motor case. A fan motor case(1) comprises a fan motor(10), a lower motor case(30), an upper motor case(20), an upper buffer member(41), and a lower buffer member(42). The lower case comprises a lower case part(31) surrounding a lower part of the fan motor and having an air outlet on its lateral side, and a lower exhaust air duct(35) contouring along the lateral side of the lower case part and gradually widened in a direction that the air flows out. The upper motor case comprises an upper case part surrounding an upper part of the fan motor, and an upper exhaust air duct(25), wherein the upper case part and upper exhaust air part correspond to the lower case part and lower exhaust air duct respectively. The upper buffer member is mounted between the upper case part and the fan motor. The lower buffer member is mounted between the lower case part and the fan motor.
