A rehabilitation exercise machine is provided to help not only disabled people but also normal people in whole body exercise including walking and arm stretching(e.g., lifting and lowering arms). A rehabilitation exercise machine includes: a rotating plate(104) driven by a first geared motor; a chair having an upper plate(114) moving forward and backward with respect to a lower plate(112) and a backrest(117); a decelerating motor(120) to move the upper plate of the chair; a second geared motor generating power to lift the backrest to 80-90degrees with respect to a hinge shaft; a motor(140) to rotate a power transmission unit counterclockwise, thereby helping a user to do the whole body exercise, walking and arm stretching; a foot driver; an arm driver(160); and a control panel.
