A posture correcting device for a chair is provided to improve productivity by a simple structure, to maintain a beauty exterior by minimizing exposure externally, and to enable a user to mount it simply and easily. A posture correcting device for a chair includes: connection parts(6) connecting a backrest and a support, and having a guide groove(6a) formed long in a vertical direction and having a hole formed on the top; left and right shoulder straps(10) comprising a hanger part, a connection rod(10a) extended from the hanger part, and a locking tool(10b) connected to the end of the connection rod. The shoulder strap is connected to the guide groove of the connection part through the connection rod.
