A boring tool for a cylinder head journal in an engine is provided to prevent burning from occurring at a cam hole processing surface by forming a coolant unit inside a boring rod. A boring tool(1) for a cylinder head journal in an engine comprises a boring rod(3) and a coolant unit(5). The boring tool is attached to a joint(2) of a boring machine and provided with bites for processing a plurality of cam holes(a,b,c) formed on a cylinder head. The coolant unit is formed inside boring rod along the length direction of the boring rod to feed cutting oil coming from the joint of the boring machine to a cam hole processing surface.
