An in-line device system is provided to optimize common data for each in-line device, and to use a limited memory within a data communication card suitably, thereby obtaining memory capacities. A control device(110) and the first in-line device group(120) are mutually connected by the first optical link(140). The control device and the second in-line device group(130) are mutually connected by the second optical link(141). The control device controls the first and second in-line device groups(120,130), so that each process is normally carried out within each in-line device of the first and second in-line device groups(120,130).
