Provided is a binder having a crosslinked structure of a polyvinyl alcohol having superior adhesive strength between an active material and a current collector and between the active materials, crosslinked with polyurethane, in order to improve elasticity and solvent resistance to an electrolyte. Therefore, the binder of the present invention improves the battery performance by inhibiting deterioration of adhesive strength due to dissolution and swelling thereof in an electrolyte and by preventing peeling and separation of an electrode active material layer from a current collector, resulting from volume changes during charge/discharge cycles. |
