SEALING STRUCTURE FOR FUEL CELL

An inexpensive sealing structure for a fuel cell is provided to improve sealing characteristic and to prevent a deposition or corrosion causable by a liquid acid eluted from an electrolyte membrane. A sealing structure for a fuel cell includes: a membrane electrode assembly(MEA) having an anode electrode(220) and a cathode electrode(230) provided on both surfaces of an electrolyte membrane(210); and conductive plates(240,250) which are installed to contact each of the electrodes. The electrolyte membrane comprises an extended portion exposed from the electrodes, wherein gaskets(222,232) for sealing are formed between the both surfaces of the extended portion of the electrolyte membrane and the conductive plates.
