An automatic vending machine is provided to induce a customer to buy articles by rotating a cassette with the articles about a rotating axis and allowing the customer to see the articles through a transparent cover during the rotation of the cassette. A box-shaped main body(2) has an upper space(4) and a lower space with interposing a base plate therebetween. A plurality of cassettes(6) for receiving articles and a rotating axis(5) are installed in the upper space. The plurality of cassettes are radially arranged with respect to the rotating axis and rotate around the rotating axis. At least a part of one side of the cassette is opened or made of a transparent member, and a lower end of the cassette is provided with a support plate. An article discharging unit is located at the lower end of the cassette. A motor to rotate the rotating axis, a discharge arm to discharge the articles through a notch of the article discharge unit, and a discharge motor to rotate the discharge arm are installed in the lower space. An opening is formed on the base plate to pass the articles discharged from the discharge arm and the cassette. A front side of the upper surface is covered by a transparent cover(3). A selecting unit(10) is formed at an outer side of the main body so as to allow a consumer to select the particle. An outlet(15) is formed in the main body to take out the article passed through the opening of the base plate. |
