A method for compensating indoor temperature of an air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided to reduce errors of data measured from an indoor temperature sensor by controlling the correction time interval according to the luminous intensity. A method for compensating indoor temperature of an air conditioning system for a vehicle comprises an indoor temperature sensor(11), a lighting(13), a full automatic temperature control system(FATC)(20), a blower(33) blowing air into the vehicle, a mode door motor(31), and a suction motor(35). The FATC outputs a control signal by inputting the data for the luminous intensity of the lighting, and the indoor temperature data measured by the indoor temperature sensor. The mode door motor controls the direction of the wind inside the vehicle by manipulating a mode door driven by each mode such as face, foot, bi-level, and foot-defrost modes. The suction motor transmits the external air of the vehicle to the blower. The correction time interval for correcting the indoor temperature for the indoor temperature data of the indoor temperature sensor is reduced if the luminous intensity of the lighting is high. The correction time interval is increased if the luminous intensity of the lighting is low. The correction time is linear type.
