A mobile terminal having a data conversion function is provided to integrate a data transmission/reception application by standardizing data to allow the data to be globally analyzed. When a data request signal is inputted from the exterior, a controller(13) outputs a control signal for standardizing corresponding data. A data converting unit(14) receives the control signal, converts the data into a pre-set format, and outputs the same. The data converting unit(14) includes a data receiving unit for receiving the data to be converted from the controller(13), a data management unit for outputting a signal to store the received data in the format of source data and outputting a signal indicating conversion of the data, a data format converting unit for performing conversion to process and edit the stored data into the pre-set format, and a data transmitting unit for outputting the converted data to the exterior.
