A water saving apparatus for washing poultry carcasses is provided to spray washing water separately and discontinuously to individual animal bodies and therefore, to save washing water and to improve work efficiency. A water saving apparatus for washing poultry carcasses includes a spray connection block, and a cam drum(30). The spray connection block is constituted by a close adhesion plate(21) where animal bodies are placed to be conveyed, a transfer bar(22) connected to the rear side of the close adhesion plate, a circulation hole(23) to circulate washing water, and a resilient spring(24) to return the transfer bar to its original position. The cam drum is constituted by a cam(31) to start operating when animal bodies are placed, and a water opening/closing part(32).
