An apparatus used for supplying hot and cold drinking water in a large scale cafeteria is provided to prevent injury caused by hot water, to improve cooling efficiency and to reduce time required for cooling water by dispensing water at a proper temperature for drinking after cooling the water with multiple stage heat exchange processes. An apparatus for supplying hot and cold drinking water in a large scale cafeteria includes a water reservoir(23) having a heater(24) in the reservoir to heat supplied water from feed line(20), a heat exchanger(60) to cool the water heated in the water reservoir with multiple stage heat exchangers, a cold water storage tank(50) for storing cold water after lowering temperature of water with cooling coil(52) to dispense the cold water through cocks(55) after sterilizing the cold water in the storage tank with a UV(Ultra-Violet) sterilizer(56), and a hot water reservoir(70) to dispense the water through a cock(72) after heating the cold water at a proper temperature for drinking. |
