The method involves taking a photo of a target using a digital camera to produce an electronic file. The file is stored in the camera if it stores another file having data relative to an image representing a reference target (100) with reference points (104). Theoretical position of each point is compared with position of each of a set of reference points in the former target. Translation to be applied to each of a set of pixels in another photo is determined for each reference and intermediary points of the former target and is applied to the pixels to produce a correct photo. An independent claim is also included for an electronic apparatus comprising a memory module.
