Preparation of stabilized anhydrite III, used as water absorbent material, comprises drying in curved and straight dryers

The material is dried in a curved dryer and then stabilized in a straight dryer. The method is a function of the temperature in the two dryers, the dwell time in the curved dryer and the air velocity in the straight dryer. A method for preparing stabilized anhydrite III comprises the following steps: (1) drying performed in a curved dryer for 0.01-4 s at 100-400[deg]C; and (2) stabilization of the anhydrite III in a straight dryer, the temperature of dryer being 100-700[deg]C at the entrance and 70-300[deg]C at the exit and the air velocity inside the dryer being 2-100 m/s.
