A vehicle proximity sensor device is provided to eliminate the necessity of an additional power supply by using power generated from a cigar jack of a vehicle, and detect accurately the position and direction of an obstacle. A vehicle proximity sensor device(200) includes a first housing(10), an adhesive layer(20), an antenna(30), an analog unit(40), a digital unit(50), a sensing unit(60), an operating circuit(70), a second housing, an RFID reader, and a display unit. The first housing is attached to a vehicle body. The adhesive layer is formed on one side of the first housing, and attaches the first housing to the outside of the vehicle body. The antenna is arranged in the first housing. The analog unit is positioned in the first housing, and electrically connected to the antenna, and includes a voltage generator for generating voltages for driving an internal circuit, a demodulator for demodulating commands from the RFID reader, and a modulator for transmitting data to the RFID reader. The digital unit is positioned in the first housing, and electrically connected to the antenna and the analog unit, and includes a decoder for decoding commands from the RFID reader and an encoder for encoding data to be transmitted to the RFID reader. The sensing unit includes a transmitting part(62) and a receiving part(64) for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves. The operating circuit is electrically connected to the sensing unit, and converts signals input from the sensing unit into electrical signals. The second housing is arranged in the vicinity of a driver seat in the vehicle body. The RFID reader is arranged in the second housing, and electrically connected to the sensing unit and the analog unit, and includes an RF transmitting part for transmitting signals to the demodulator and an RF receiving part for receiving signals transmitted through the modulator. The display unit is arranged in the second housing, and electrically connected to the RFID reader and displays signals from the RFID reader.
