An unmanned settlement system using a unique code is provided to remove customer inconvenience of waiting for the settlement in a predetermined day or time slot, reduce congestion for waiting for the settlement in a large mart, and bring huge economical benefit to the large mart by requiring no settlement personnel. A relay(110) receives the unique code of desired articles and settlement tool information from a portable terminal(105) of a user, and transmits the received information to a settlement server(115). The settlement server checks an article name/price corresponding to the article code received from the relay by using a database storing/managing the unique article code matched with the article name/price, and processes settlement for the checked article price by using the received settlement tool information. A sensing gate(120) determines settlement completion of the article based on the settlement information of the user. |
