The module (1) has a compression block (6) e.g. displacement compressor, providing compressed air to a cathodic compartment (3) of a fuel cell (2). A connection circuit (5) connects an outlet of the cathodic compartment and an inlet of an anodic compartment (4) of the cell. The circuit has a reformer device (7) producing a hydrogen-rich reformer from fuel and the air. An anodic evacuation circuit is mounted in downstream of the cell and connects the outlet to an anodic gas fueled burner (25). Phase-splitter circuits (9, 10) are mounted in upstream of the burner and downstream of the cell. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing a power module.
