A roller type sludge collector is provided to allow a bottom part of a scraper to come close to a bottom surface of a settling pond when transferring sludge to a hopper, allow the bottom part of the scraper to be separated from the bottom surface of the settling pond when returning the scraper to its initial position to transfer sludge, and make it possible to prevent bending deformation of the scraper. In a sludge collector comprising: a scraper(10) which is installed in a settling pond having a hopper linked to one side thereof so that the scraper is movable forward and backward to transfer sludge in the settling pond to the hopper linked to the settling pond; and a drive unit including a drive source for providing the scraper with driving force, guide rails(12) formed on both sidewalls of the settling pond, and sliders(30) mounted on both ends of the scraper and moved forward and backward along the guide rails, a roller type sludge collector is characterized in that the drive unit additionally includes forward and backward moving rollers(40,50) which are fixed onto both end portions of the scraper, and on which catching projections(41,51) are formed oppositely to each other, and forward and backward moving adjustment bars(60,70) symmetrically formed on both end portions of the scraper, moved together with the scraper and optionally joined with the catching projections of the forward and backward moving rollers to adjust a posture of the scraper.
