#CMT# #/CMT# The system has an injector (104) provided with an injecting nozzle, and a support (102) e.g. cooled cylinder head, that includes a bore (106) in which the injector is mounted. The bore has a truncated portion (116) on a side of an injection zone. A copper ring (118) includes an outer section corresponding to that of the truncated portion of the bore, and an inner section corresponding to that of the nozzle for forming a surface contact between the nozzle and the ring, and between the ring and the support. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an injection system. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# System for injecting fuel for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle in order to propel the vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The copper ring includes the outer section corresponding to that of the truncated portion of the bore, and the inner section corresponding to that of the nozzle for forming the surface contact between the nozzle and the ring, and between the ring and the support, thus improving the thermal exchange between the injector and the support without influencing the guiding of the injector in the support.
