PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to issue receipts and labels, and save the space for disposing a device for achieving the issuance and the space for a stock of consumables. SOLUTION: A merchandise sales processing system comprises: a printing part 310 for performing printing on a sheet having a thermosensitive adhesive layer on its back side; a heating part 320 for developing the adherence by heating the thermosensitive adhesive layer; a merchandise master 210 for storing label issuing conditions concerning the necessity of issuing labels by associating them with each piece of the merchandise; an information input part 220 for inputting the information to identify the merchandise; a means 240 for printing receipts based on the input; a means 230 for referring to the label issuing conditions when printing receipts, and determining whether there is a piece of merchandize for which a label needs to be issued, among the merchandize for which the receipts are issued; a means 250 for printing a label of the applicable merchandise when there is a piece of merchandize for which a label needs to be issued; and a means 260 for heating the back side of the printing region of the label after the label has been printed.
