METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYOLEFIN GRAFT COPOLYMER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION BY MIXING COPOLYMER PRODUCED BY THE FORMER METHOD WITH THERMOPLASTIC RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a copolymer having grafted polyolefin while suppressing the deactivation of a coordination polymerization catalyst to improve the ordinarily low production rate of the polyolefin in the coordination polymerization of an olefin monomer in the presence of a macro-monomer latex produced by the emulsion polymerization of a vinyl polymer, especially acrylic monomer. SOLUTION: The polymerization of an olefin monomer by a coordination polymerization catalyst proceeds in extremely high efficiency by extracting a macro-monomer in a hydrophobic organic solvent having affinity to the macro-monomer. Consequently, a polyolefin-grafted copolymer having high olefin polymerization amount can be produced by the method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
