PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cleanly and surely remove meat chips, meat juice, or other things adhered not only to the edge surface of a rotating cutter 1 but also to a cutting edge 1a, and to prevent a scraper 4 from biting the rotating cutter 1 when it is returned to its original position by making a guide member 5 to guide it reliably. SOLUTION: This meat slicer is provided with the scraper 4 attached on the side of a meat box 2 holding a hunk of meat, which can be pressed on the backside of the cutter 1, and the guide member 5 guiding this scraper 4 to the outside beyond the cutting edge 1a of the cutter 1. Consequently, when the scraper 4 is moved to the cutting edge 1a of the cutter 1 along with the movement of the meat box 2, it is contacted with the guide member 5 and guided to the outside beyond the cutting edge 1a of the cutter 1. On the contrary, it is returned to the inside of the cutting edge 1a of the cutter 1 from the guide member 5 with return of the meat box 2 to its original position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
