PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for a workpiece, machining the workpiece with high accuracy by making bonding wax adhere uniformly and like a thin film to a fixing surface of a fixed tool, restraining variation in height of the workpiece, and restraining unreasonable stress applied to the workpiece in bonding and fixing the workpiece to the fixed tool with the bonding wax. SOLUTION: This fixing method for the workpiece 4 includes: a process of making a wax solution obtained by dissolving the bonding wax 5 taking an organic solvent as a solvent adhere to the fixing surface 2 of the workpiece fixing tool 1; a process of bonding the fixing surface of the workpiece 4 to a wax solution adhering surface on the fixing surface 2 of the workpiece fixing tool 1 when the adhering wax solution is in a liquid state; and a process of fixing the workpiece 4 to the workpiece fixing tool 1 with remaining bonding wax 5.
