PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of continuous casting, which method can improve the life of the whole casting mold by elongating the life of the upper side of the casting mold. SOLUTION: In the continuous casting method, molten steel 2 existing in a tundish is supplied into the casting mold 4, and the supplied molten steel 2 is cast while being electromagnetically stirred in one direction. When the molten steel 2 is supplied again into the casting mold 4 from the tundish after stopping the supply of the molten steel 2 to the casting mold 4 from the tundish, the casting is carried out after changing the level of the molten steel 2 in the casting mold 4 by 15 mm or more than the level of the molten steel 2 before stopping the supply of the molten steel 2.
