PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide X-ray equipment for photographing an X-ray image with high visibility of asbestos when asbestos included in a sample is an object of photography. SOLUTION: An X-ray source irradiates the sample held between the X-ray source and an image recording device with X rays of 15 keV whose focal diameter D(μm) satisfies the relation: 1≤D≤30. The image recording device 6, in which a front top panel, a casing part of a cassette 61 on the X-ray irradiation face side, is detached, is used for the photography and the distance R3 is adjusted in the range of 1<R3<4, so that the rate of arrival of the X rays emitted from the X-ray source 2 to an X-ray detector 7 is at least 50%.
