PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like composition excellent in gelling ability and the feel of use. SOLUTION: The gel-like composition includes 0.1-60 mass% of (a) a blocked alkylene oxide derivative expressed by formula (I), (b) an oil component and 0.1-10% of (c) water and has a viscosity of the system with the oil component as the continuous phase of ≥500 mPa s (25°C). Formula (I): R<SP>1</SP>O-[(AO)<SB>l</SB>(EO)<SB>m</SB>(AO)<SB>n</SB>]-R<SP>2</SP>. In the formula, AO is a 3-4C oxyalkylene group; EO is an oxyethylene group; l, m and n are each average addition molar numbers for the oxyalkylene group and the oxyethylene group; 1≤m≤70, 1≤l+n≤70; the ratio of the oxyethylene group to the total of the 3-4C oxyalkylene group and the oxyethylene group is 20-80 mass%; R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are the same or different 1-4C hydrocarbon groups or hydrogen atoms.
