The invention relates to a time switch (1) with at least one first and one second elastic spring element (22, 23) that are both provided with at least one switch contact (24, 25). The time switch further comprises a rotation-driven drum controller (3) that is provided with a plurality of adjustable switch elements (11, 12) which displace a switch lever (13) from an inactive initial position to a switching position, thereby triggering a switch operation of the spring elements (22, 23) with their switch contacts (24, 25). When the drum controller (3) continues to rotate, the switch lever (13) abruptly falls back into its initial position, thereby abruptly disrupting the switch contacts (24, 25). In order to effect an abrupt closure of the switch contacts (24, 25), a locking lever (35) is provided between the spring elements (22, 23) which, in a first switch phase and under the effect of a pre-stress, maintains the two spring elements (22, 23) at a certain distance to the switch contacts (24, 25) and which, during a second switch phase, abruptly releases the second spring element (23) so that it can abruptly close the switch contacts (24, 25). |
