PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct-acting guide device to be able to miniaturize the direct-acting guide device and reduce the manufacturing costs by eliminating the need for a great many pieces of equipment in order to purify compressed air to be fed to a static bearing. SOLUTION: The direct-acting guide device is provided with a fixing member 4, a rotary shaft 3 having both the ends rotatably supported in the fixing member 4, and a guide member 2 moving linearly in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 3. The guide member 2 has a housing 5 and a sleeve 6 installed in the housing 5 and coaxially inserted by the rotating shaft 3. A dynamic pressure groove 6b is formed in the inner peripheral surface 6a of the sleeve 6 to generate dynamic pressure by the rotation of the rotary shaft 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
