PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity universal joint preventing falling off of an outer ring even if an inner member slides in an axial direction under a subassembly condition while securing axial slide width of the inner member of the outer ring in a non-float levulose type constant velocity universal joint. SOLUTION: A step part 2b is formed on an outer circumference surface of an outside end part of the outer ring 2. A metal ring plate 6 having a flange 6a on an outer diameter part is attached on the step part 2b of the outer ring 2 and the flange part 6a making an inner diameter part project from a grove bottom of the outer ring 2 is attached on an outside end surface of the outer ring 2 by being pushed in from an outside. Movement of a ball 4 to an outside is regulated by interference of the ball 4 with the inner diameter part of the metal ring plate 6 to regulate slide out of the inner member 1 under the subassembly condition.
