PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting material having high stability, capable of emitting fluorescence in both of the solid and the solution and capable of mixing into a resin. SOLUTION: A tripod metal complex in which central metal ion is yttrium or lanthanoid is included in a resin and used as a light-emitting material. In the tripod metal complex, an yttrium complex is e.g. a tripod metal complex using yttrium trifluoromethanesulfonate, tris(2-aminoethyl)amine and salicylaldehyde as the raw materials and having three Schiff base bonds formed from an amino group and an aldehyde group in one molecule.
