PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a dermoscope is an observation device of a local skin surface, a conventional dermoscope has a type (1) for a visual observation and a type (2) using a dedicated built-in imaging device and a dedicated monitor, the mounting of the imaging device is difficult or impossible in the type (1), the replacement of the imaging device is difficult or impossible in the type (2) and is expensive, and the both are invisible without installing illumination devices in their insides. SOLUTION: The imaging device such as a commercially available camera and a video camera, a commercially available macro lens and a spacer are combined together. The spacer is made of acrylic, has a hollow structure, consists of a tubular part and a flat plate, and has a firm and stable structure. The dermoscope can be lighted from the outside, is tightly stuck to the skin surface and allows an easy observation of the skin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
