PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine for enabling a user to directly decide a roulette. SOLUTION: This vending machine is configured to sell merchandise such as canned beverage and pet bottle housed in the container of a main body cabinet or beverage product such as coffee made in the container wherein a plurality of product samples are placed on a display stand 1 arranged in a display chamber formed at an external door. This vending machine is provided with a control part for starting a roulette according to a user's merchandise purchasing action before operating a merchandise selection button 58, for example, a signal from a money discrimination mechanism 51 to be operated according to the input of money or a signal from a human sensor 55, and for determining winning/losing according to the operation of the merchandise selection button 58 for sales.
