The follower (1) has a rotating roller (3) supported on a bolt (2) as cam thrust surface. The bolt with outer shell (4) runs in a respective bore (5,6) of two guide walls (7,8). The roller is held between the guide walls and the outer shell has two sections (9,10). A section (9) has an intrinsic bigger diameter than another section (10), where the bolt experiences an axial travel limit in a direction over collar (11) lying between the sections and in another direction over a radially projecting element like a safety ring (12). The collar and safety ring are attached at one of the guide walls.
