The truck has a rotating range of a towing bar divided into an upper end range and a normal cruising range. A drive switch controls a traction drive of an elevating truck. A drive switch (10) is arranged at a towing bar (5). A traction drive control (8) is implemented in such a manner that the towing bar is provided in an upper end range. The traction drive is switchable using a drive switch.
