The optical sensor arrangement has a transmitter and a receiver for electromagnetic waves into a given sensing system (1.1, 1.2). The housing has a transmitter and a receiver and a permeable opening for the electromagnetic waves. The housing has reflection medium inside or at the front housing range, in order to reflect the electromagnetic waves backward that are coming out of the housing. The electromagnetic waves are incident through the opening and not in the sensing direction, and appear on the housing and not in the sensing direction.
