The device has a x-ray system for producing x-ray images, and a patient support table (8). A semi-transparent display (23) is swivelable over an operation field and is attached to the patient support table. The semi-transparent display is connected with an image system (9) for displaying planning and image data. A position detection system is provided for a catheter, and a positioning system reproduces a position of the catheter on the display.
