APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING CAMERA CLOCK IN PORTABLE TERMINAL

An apparatus and a method for providing a clock required for a camera operation in a mobile terminal are provided to reduce the width of an FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board) and RF(Radio Frequency) noise. An oscillator generates the first clock and provides it to a controller(400). The controller converts the received first clock frequency(19.2 MHz) into the second clock frequency(100~150 MHz) and provides the same to an LDI(LCD Driver IC)(402). A clock divider receives the second clock frequency from the LDI and divides it into the third clock frequency(19~25 MHz)(404). The divided clock frequency(19~25 MHz) is provided to a camera(406).
