PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content receiver capable of synchronizing contents on the basis of a time code level at reproduction even in the case of transmission/reception of the contents via a network.

SOLUTION: The content receiver 5 is characterized in that a synchronous transmission means (synchronous packet transmission means) 55 of the content receiver 5 transmits a synchronous packet including a time code of frame data to a content transmitter 1, a packet receiving means 52 receives the frame data in the form of a data packet from the content transmitter 1, a frame generating means (basic data reconfiguration means) 53 reconfigures the frame data and stores the reconfigured frame data to a frame storage means (basic data storage means) 54, a reproduction signal generating means (delay signal generation means) 58 generates a reproduction request signal with a frame clock delayed by a reproduction delay amount, and a frame output means (basic data output means) 57 outputs the frame data in the frame storage means on the basis of the reproduction request signal.
