PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective liquid crystal display device for which the transmission area is made wide while satisfying the conventional wiring rule. SOLUTION: A TFT 6 is formed on an under layer of a signal line 3 near an intersection between: a scanning line 4 disposed on a boundary of a reflection area 1 and the transmission area 2; and the signal lines 3 disposed on both sides of a pixel so as to intersect the scanning line 4. Thereby, the scanning line 4 can be moved to the reflection area 1 side and, therefore, an aperture of the transmission area 2 can be increased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
