A plurality of the tapered rollers 3A, 3B arranged in the axial direction have respective conical surfaces having different diameters, and their outer peripheral surfaces nearly form a common imaginary circular cone surface. The small end surfaces 3Ab of the large-diameter side rollers 3A have a spherical shape, and come into point contact with the large end surfaces 3Ba of the small-diameter side rollers 3B on the respective axes of the rotation. Molybdenum disulfide base coating films are formed on the surfaces of the respective rollers 3A, 3B. This type of bearings can be applied to the pilot portion, etc. of a transmission.
