A movable fencing, or trellis, clip 10 for securing a wire to a fencing, or trellis, post 37 comprises a clamping means adapted to grip the fencing or trellis post 37 and at least one wire engagement means 17 connected to the clamping means by an arm 11. The configuration of the clip 10 is such that movement of the or each arm 11 produces a tightening or loosening of the clamping means, and when a tensioned wire is engaged with the wire engagement means, the wire is caused to bear against the post 37 and to move the arm 11 to tighten the clamping means about the fencing, or trellis, post 37.
