<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a user an incentive to purchase a product by enabling the user to create an image character of high originality so as to provide information on a product which has yet to be obtained yet, to the user. <P>SOLUTION: Identification information added to a product is discriminated by an identification information discrimination means 4, and an image corresponding to the product is displayed on the screen of a display device 2. A combination possible component retrieval means 8 retrieves picture data of one or more components constituting another product identified by another piece of identification information which can be combined with two or more components, constituting the product corresponding to the identified identification information. The picture of a product and a picture selected from among the images retrieved are combined with each other, to prepare a new image.
